NCIS: LOS ANGELES will have a surprise guest star in its latest episode as US rapper Offset appears. But who is he and who does he play?
NCIS: Los Angeles will be inviting an award-winning rapper into its cast this week as Cardi B’s husband and musician Kiari ‘Offset’ Cephus guest stars. He will be assisting on a case where one of the team go missing – here’s what you need to know about him.
Who will rapper Offset play on NCIS: LA?
The season 11, episode 16 of NCIS: Los Angeles will see the team face another dramatic storyline.
Entitled Alsiyadun, the new episode will follow Fatima Namazi (played by Medalion Rahimi) as she is sent on a new mission.
However, things quickly go wrong after she is captured and held for ransom.
As a result, G Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) must enlist a deep undercover CIA agent to help them.
The upcoming episode looks extremely tense from the promo as Fatima is brought behind enemy lines.
At one point Sam says: “A federal agent is going to be assassinated unless we save her.”
The special agent they enlist for help is Kadri Kashan Khan who will be played by rapper Offset.
Not much has been revealed about his character yet, aside from how he has been undercover for a number of years.
Offset is best-known for his music career both as a solo artist and as part of music trio Migos.
Fans may be familiar with his music from his collaborations with Drake and Macklemore.
He also released his first solo album called Father of Four back in February 2019.
The rapper has been married to rapper Cardi B since September 2017 and the pair share a daughter.
This will not be Offset’s first television appearance, having previously appeared in a 2016 episode of Atlanta, as well as a number of music videos.
However, the role on NCIS will mark his first time not appearing as himself.
Alongside Offset in the new episode, it is also expected another guest star will be back.
Callen’s ex-girlfriend Anna Kolcheck (Bar Paly) appeared in the last episode of the show when arrived to ask for his help.
While he later told his team she had left again, it turned out she was hiding in his apartment.
Viewers expect to see a lot more of her in this season of the show
Other guest stars confirmed to appear in the episode include Eric Palladino as Vostanik Sabatino, Don Wallace as Frank Wallace and Abe Martell as Fayyaad Al-Radwan Khalid.
