CBS’ hit procedural drama NCIS Los Angeles came to an end earlier this year after a whopping 14 seasons – and now the stars are coming back together for a good cause.
The beloved stars from NCIS Los Angeles will reunite for the first time since the show’s finale for a good cause.
Kensi Blye star Daniela Ruah took to Instagram with a video of the exciting news as she also spoke about the triathlon and encouraged her followers to donate.
Addressing her 1.1 million followers, the actress revealed: “For the last few years I have participated in the Malibu triathlon to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
“But I’ve always only done the running portion of the race as part of a relay team.
“This year, however, because I turn the big 4-0 in December, I decided to gift myself an entire race, so, swimming, biking, and running.”
Ruah added: “We’ve also got a little team of people together to help raise funds and that is Caleb Castille, Duncan Campbell and my very own hubby, David Olson, who played Tom Olson.”
The NCIS actress elaborated: “We’re training for it and having so much fun, and we would love it if you could help raise $10,000 for Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, I’m nervous and excited and training along with these guys!”
In the caption, she continued: “Also if anyone has any pointers I’d love to hear them!”
Fans were thrilled to hear the cast would be getting together for a good cause and offered advice to the star.
The 39-year-old also received praise from her other co-star Medalion Rahimi who starred as Fatima Namazi.
Although the actress seemingly won’t be taking part, she commented: “You’re the coolest, donated!”
Lisa Rand star Alicia Coppola added: “@childrensla saves so many young lives. It is the best!”
While Caleb Castille shared his excitement and wrote: “Can’t wait.”
Although social media offers special insights into the stars’ personal lives, fans are still holding out hope for a potential spin-off with Olsen even calling for one after the cancelation.
Many want to see more from Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) who have travelled to Morocco to help Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt) whose mission went awry.
The finale also had more surprises in store as Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) and Kensi finally discovered they were expecting a baby together.
After being plagued with infertility the couple opted to foster Rosa (Natalia Del Riego) and the trio shared a tearful embrace after they learned the good news.
Ruah’s latest post came after she paid tribute to her daughter on social media recently.
