NCIS Los Angeles season 11: Are Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks married in real life?
NCIS LOS ANGELES fans have loved watching the evolution of Agents Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks’ relationship since the drama first started. But do the pair also have chemistry away from the cameras?
Agents Kensi Blye (played by Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) first started as colleagues in NCIS: Los Angeles and were put together as partners. Eventually, their bond started to grow and they became friends but it wasn’t long before the pair realised there was something more between them. So in season 10, episode 17, Till Death Do Us Part, Kensi and Marty made ut official and tied the knot.
In NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles and NCIS: New Orleans, this is the first time two of the agents have gotten married.
There have been numerous flirtationships as well as relationships play out on screen but Kensi and Marty are the first to make it official.
In the series’ final episode of 2019, the pair also discussed the possibility of starting a family together so fans could soon be seeing an NCIS baby on their screens.
Unfortunately, the romance for the actors who play Kensi and Marty stops as soon as the camera stops rolling.
The pair are not married and have never been in a relationship with one another, despite their chemistry on the show.
They have worked closely together since 2009 but have always just been friends.
However, actress Ruah and Olsen are still connected by marriage. In real life, Ruah is married to Eric’s brother David Paul Olsen and had their big day on June 17, 2014.
David also has a major role on NCIS as he is Eric’s stunt double so can often be seen taking part in some of the bigger action scenes in the CBS drama.
Ruah and Olsen now have two young children together River and Sierra.
But it was actually Eric who played matchmaker and helped out at the beginning of their relationship.Speaking on The Queen Latifah Show in 2014, Eric talked about his brother and sister-in-law and co-star.
He said: “When they got together, because he came on to do stunts, I would say something nice about her to him and then say something to him about her.
“That was enough to kinda get them started in conversation and it became this wonderful relationship.”
But Eric also found his special someone a few years before NCIS: Los Angeles started. The couple got engaged in 2011 and got married one year later.
They also have two children together and Ruah often posts pictures on Instagram of the two families spending time together.
