NCIS: Tony and Ziva Fans Launch a Second Times Square Billboard to Rally for Spinoff Revival

NEW YORK, NY – January 6, 2026

Fans of the Paramount+ original, NCIS: Tony and Ziva continue to campaign for revival of the hit series after the abrupt cancellation of the show, announced on December 19, 2025.

Led by @NCISTivaFans on X, fans first crowdfunded a “Save Tony and Ziva” billboard that was displayed in Times Square on New Year’s Eve, prompting a heartfelt reaction from series star Michael Weatherly, who recognized the gesture in an emotional tweet.

Breaking an NCIS-franchise record with 93 million views of the first trailer, NCIS: Tony and Ziva debuted in September 2025 on Nielsen streaming charts with over 371 million minutes viewed.

The second billboard design features various headlines from the show’s debut, critically praising the series, and a QR code linking a website with information on how to get involved in their campaign to reverse the cancellation and ultimately reunite Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo as fan favorite characters Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, for a second season.
