For context, the last time that Sheldon, Georgie, and Missy went on an adventure was way back in Young Sheldon season 1, when the kids stole Meemaw’s car, snuck out of the house, and drove to the hospital to check up on George, who had a medical emergency. Seeing the trio work together for a shared goal, despite some complaints, was quite entertaining. Young Sheldon may be ending, but the Cooper family’s story will continue. Sheldon will move to California and will stay there into his adulthood. Meanwhile, the remainder of Georgie’s story will play out through the next Young Sheldon spinoff tackling his and Mandy’s narrative. There are theories that Missy’s arc will also be part of the upcoming series. This separation, however, hinders the universe from making up its big Cooper kid mistake. Even if they reunite some time in the near future, The Big Bang Theory canon mandates that they will also drift apart from each other moving forward.
