An original NCIS: Los Angeles star opens up about the possibility of returning to the long-running procedural, striking an optimistic tone.
Daniela Ruah, an original NCIS: Los Angeles star, addresses her potential return to the franchise. Part of the NCIS spinoff since the very first season, Ruah portrayed Kensi Blye. In the NCIS: LA series finale, it was revealed that Kensi and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) have a baby on the way. But with LL Cool J’s Sam Hanna making a surprise appearance in the NCIS: Hawaiʻi season 2 finale, it’s opened up the possibility for other NCIS: LA alums to reprise their roles.
Addressing the possibility of a return to the NCIS franchise as Kensi in comments to TVLine, Ruah struck an optimistic tone. Although nothing is confirmed, the Los Angeles vet indicated that she would be open to reprising her role in the right circumstances and if she’s asked to do so. Read Ruah’s quote below:
