Pamela Anderson Claims Tim Allen Flashed Her On Home Improvement Set
Pamela Anderson details a disturbing incident involving Tim Allen that took place on the set of Home Improvement when she was 23 years old.
Pamela Anderson alleges that Tim Allen flashed her on the set of Home Improvement. The Canadian-American actress and model is best known for her role as C.J. Parker on Baywatch and her frequent appearances in Playboy magazine starting in 1990. In 1991, Anderson also became known to audiences for appearing on the ABC sitcom Home Improvement alongside Tim Allen as Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor with the Playboy model playing the role of “Tool Time girl” Lisa during the sitcom’s first two seasons and later returning for the sixth.
In her upcoming memoir (via Variety), Pamela Anderson details a disturbing incident that occurred on the Home Improvement set in 1991. On her first day of filming, Anderson alleges she walked out of her dressing room and Tim Allen opened his robe and quickly flashed his penis at her. In a statement, Allen responded to Anderson’s allegations, stating “No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing.” Read the relevant excerpt from Anderson’s upcoming memoir below:
On the first day of filming, I walked out of my dressing room, and Tim was in the hallway in his robe. He opened his robe and flashed me quickly — completely naked underneath. He said it was only fair, because he had seen me naked. Now we’re even. I laughed uncomfortably.
How Pamela Anderson Is Telling Her Own Story
Pamela Anderson’s explosive claim in her upcoming memoir is just the latest example of her attempt to tell her own story after years of perceived unfair treatment by the media. This was best exemplified by the infamous sex tape involving Anderson and her ex-husband Tommy Lee, which was stolen from their home by Rand Gauthier in 1995 and was widely distributed online. After the release of the tape, the Mötley Crüe drummer and Baywatch star were treated very differently by the media, with the latter largely being mocked and shamed. The stolen sex tape scandal was recently dramatized by Hulu’s miniseries Pam & Tommy starring Lily James and Sebastian Stan in the titular roles.
Anderson had no involvement in Pam & Tommy, nor did she consent to have her life dramatized. Although the Hulu miniseries is largely sympathetic to her, Anderson isn’t interested in watching Pam & Tommy. Instead, she will be telling her own side of her story in an upcoming Netflix documentary titled Pamela, A Love Story, released on January 31. Viewed as a rebuttal to Pam & Tommy and other media stories, the intimate documentary chronicles Anderson’s rise to fame , rocky romances, and infamous sex tape scandal through her own perspective.
Her upcoming memoir, titled Love, Pamela, is Anderson’s latest means of telling her own story after years of perceived unfair treatment by the media. The explosive claim regarding Tim Allen on Home Improvement, which the actor has denied, is likely one of many included in the upcoming memoir which chronicles Anderson’s rise from a small town on Vancouver Island to one of the world’s most recognizable stars. After remaining mum on the miniseries, Anderson will also address Hulu’s Pam & Tommy in her upcoming memoir when Love, Pamela hits shelves on January 31, the same day her Netflix documentary releases.
