The Americans‘ Peter Mark Kendall has landed a recurring role on NBC’s upcoming drama series Chicago Med. The latest offshoot in Wolf Films/Universal TV’s successful Chicago Fire franchise, Chicago Med is described as an emotional thrill ride through the day-to-day chaos of the city’s most explosive hospital and the courageous team of doctors who hold it together. Kendall will play Joey, a nerdy-cute lab tech with a sharp and sarcastic sense of humor.He is a love interest to one of the characters on the show. Kendall’s other credits include HBO’s Girls and The Leftovers and feature Time Out Of Mind. He’s repped by AC Management, Abrams Artists & Jackoway Tyerman. Chicago Med premieres November 17.
X-Men and Twilight alum Edi Gathegi has joined the cast of AMC’s martial arts drama Into The Badlands in a recurring role. The six-episode series is loosely based on the Chinese tale Journey To The West. In a land controlled by feudal barons, Into The Badlands tells the story of a ruthless, well-trained warrior named Sunny (Daniel Wu) and a young boy, M.K. (Aramis Knight), who embark on a journey across a dangerous land to find enlightenment. Gathegi will play Jacobe, a rival to Quinn (Marton Csokas). Gathegi, repped by ICM Partners, Framework Entertainment, and Gang, Tyre, Ramer & Brown, currently recurs on The Blacklist.
