Phoebe Dynevor’s Stunning Hair Transformation: Why She Ditched Her Iconic Red for Bold Blonde Bangs

Aside from being the social season’s diamond, Bridgerton actor Phoebe Dynevor is best known for her trademark red hair—well, until today. No longer is she the strawberry blonde debutante-turned-Duchess Daphne Bridgerton we all know and love, but instead, a chic and luxe cover star with a transformative bleach blonde bang haircut. Yep, I audibly gasped, too.

Over the weekend, Phoebe posted a three-part carousel on Instagram to debut the recent cover of the Telegraph Luxury, which she stars in. For the editorial shoot, Phoebe underwent a major hair makeover, with celebrity hairstylist Dayaruci giving her a blonde bang, which was styled in a wet look, no less.

Her long, tamed chestnut tresses were replaced with a shoulder-length punkier ‘do, complete with eyelash-grazing bangs.

Unrecognizable, much?

FYI, traditionally, these lengths hit between the collarbone and chest, but frame the face with shape and texture. Think: Mick Jagger’s iconic tresses circa 1975. With that said, there’s no denying that together, Dayaruci and Phoebe totally nailed the look.

But before you go and make like Phoebe with a dramatic cut, it’s worth noting that in the caption of her post, the actor notes that this shoot took place earlier this year in May. So, one can only assume that her blonde bangs were achieved via a wig, seeing as she was recently spotted rocking copper lengths at the fourth annual Academy Museum Gala on October 19.

Alas, permanent or not, this hairstyle is certainly one for the books and a winter inspiration if I ever did see one!
