Blue Bloods is a film about a family of police officers who have served for generations in the New York City law enforcement force in the United States. Frank Reagan is the New York City police chief, head of both the police force and the Reagan family. He runs the police department diplomatically as he would his family, even when facing political problems that troubled his father when he was the police chief.
The person who makes Frank proud but also worried is Danny, his eldest son. He is a veteran detective who fought in Iraq. He sometimes uses ambiguous tactics to solve cases with his partner – detective Maria Baez. In the family, there is also Erin – a New York deputy prosecutor. She is also a legal dictionary for her father and siblings. She single-handedly raises her teenage daughter Nicky.
Besides, there is also Linda, Danny’s wife. Jamie is the youngest of the Reagans, a Harvard Law graduate and the family’s “golden boy”. Unable to resist family tradition, Jamie decides to give up a bright future in law to follow in his family’s footsteps and become a police officer. He befriends Eddie, his enthusiastic young female partner. She always pushes him to work, but her reasons for becoming a police officer are very different from the Reagans. The film promises to attract audiences with its dramatic, suspenseful content and many unexpected details.
