Power Book II: Ghost Season 4 Launches to Massive Viewership on Starz Following Cancelation

As Power Book II: Ghost rolls out its fourth season, it appears the series is wrapping up its saga on a high note.

Starz recently unveiled the first part of the final season on June 7, which quickly escalated to become one of the network’s most successful openings to date. The debut episodes garnered a staggering 6.5 million views across multiple platforms within the first week alone, signaling a robust continuation of its viewer engagement, according to Deadline.

The announcement of the show’s cancellation came as a surprise in March, especially given the success and following it had cultivated. Power Book II: Ghost was the first of several spinoffs from the popular Power series. This installment dives deep into the life of Ghost’s son, who, after the tumultuous events of his father’s death, tries to sever ties with the criminal world. Yet, despite his efforts to forge a new path, he finds himself pulled back into the shadows by the repercussions of his past actions, particularly after his mother, played by Naturi Naughton, is convicted of his father’s murder.

Power Book II: Ghost cast includes notable performances from Gianni Paolo, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray, LaToya Tonodeo, Alix Lapri, Caroline Chikezie, Lightskinkeisha, and Michael Ealy. Behind the scenes, Brett Mahoney leads as the showrunner and executive producer for the season. He is joined by a team of seasoned producers including Courtney A. Kemp through End of Episode, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson through G-Unit Film and Television, and Mark Canton through Canton Entertainment. The series is produced by Lionsgate Television for Starz.
