After fulfilling the role for the last three episodes, Andy Herrera finally earns her captain’s stripes on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 5, “My Way” — the show’s milestone 100th episode.
This professional milestone comes after Beckett asked Andy if she had received them yet on Station 19 Season 7 Episode 3, “Trouble Man.” This event occurs at the same time as a life-or-death emergency at Seattle’s Space Needle.
The call’s intensity causes Beckett to fall from a great height, Vic to swing around the beloved landmark because helicopters get too close, and Ben and Sullivan to be trapped near a fire, according to the promo video.
The promo video also reveals a heartbreaking callback to the early days of Ben and Miranda Bailey’s relationship on Grey’s Anatomy. On “My Way,” it plays as a farewell Ben hopes that Andy will extend to Miranda if he doesn’t make it out.
On the ground, Chief Ross keeps tabs on the situation alongside Station 19’s Captain; the promo video teases that Natasha may need to step in for Andy.
Meanwhile, Vic’s struggle with emotional burnout continues. Hopefully, “My Way” points her in the direction of some helpful resources. Plus, Maya will help Carina through some difficult news, and, per the photos below, Carina will cross paths with Theo at the scene of what appears to be a car pile-up in a parking garage.
