As we close in on the end of another TV season, we take a look at all the ABC shows cancelled and renewed so far.
We’re close to the end of another TV season. Some shows have already wrapped, and others, especially the ABC shows, are closing in on their season finales. The majority of ABC shows have been renewed, but there are still a few on the bubble, especially when it comes to the unscripted shows.
It can be hard to keep track, which is why we’re bringing you the ABC renewal scorecard. This takes a look at all the shows that have been cancelled, renewed, and are still on the bubble.
All the ABC shows renewed so far
The 2024–2025 TV season has been a good one for renewals of the scripted shows. It didn’t take too long for the comedy series Abbott Elementary to land a fifth season renewal. Not long after that, the freshman drama High Potential scored a renewal.
After that, ABC renewed five scripted shows in one bulk, confirming that we would get more Will Trent, The Rookie, 911, Grey’s Anatomy, and Shifting Gears. When it comes to the unscripted shows, we will definitely get more Dancing with the Stars and Great Christmas Light Fight.

All the ABC shows cancelled so far
Very few shows have been cancelled so far. In fact, the only one is a series that was confirmed as coming to an end at the time of the previous renewal. We said goodbye to The Connors after seven wonderful seasons.
This is surprising considering there were a few shows that were on the bubble for a while due to linear ratings. Some of those shows remain on the bubble.
Scamanda doesn’t quite count as a cancellation. This series was a limited series, so it was just a one and done, and there is no more to the story.
All the ABC shows on the bubble right now
As of May 2, 2025, there is just one scripted show that remains with its fate in the air. It’s all about Doctor Odyssey, the soapy freshman drama that just hasn’t quite gotten out of the port in the linear ratings.
It’s the unscripted shows that are more at risk, as the majority of the lineup is still on the bubble. Some of these are sure to come to an end, especially as there are more scripted shows potentially arriving in fall 2025.
