“Reunion or Farewell?” – The Chicago Fire Season 14 Cast Remains a Big Mystery!

As the flames of Chicago Fire Season 13 continue to burn, fans are left in the dark about one major question:
Who’s coming back if the show gets renewed for Season 14?

So far, NBC has not confirmed a Season 14 renewal, and with that silence comes even more mystery surrounding the show’s future cast. After a season full of emotional exits, surprise returns, and new faces, it’s unclear who will still be standing when the smoke clears.

 Big Goodbyes and New Hellos

Season 13 saw the emotional departure of Kara Killmer (Sylvie Brett), who left Firehouse 51 after marrying Matt Casey.
Meanwhile, Rome Flynn (Derrick Gibson) also exited after his character struggled with addiction and PTSD.

On the flip side, the season welcomed new characters like Dom Pascal (Dermot Mulroney) and Jack Damon (Michael Bradway), both of whom stirred up drama and disrupted the firehouse’s usual dynamic.

Who Might Return – And Who Might Not?

Here’s what we know (and what we don’t):

  • Taylor Kinney (Kelly Severide) returned in Season 13, but his long-term status is still uncertain.

  • Miranda Rae Mayo (Stella Kidd) continues to play a major role, but there are whispers she may take time off next season.

  • Hanako Greensmith (Violet Mikami) is expected to return, though her character’s emotional rollercoaster could lead anywhere.

  • Other favorites like David Eigenberg (Christopher Herrmann) and Joe Miñoso (Cruz) have not announced any exit plans—but nothing’s set in stone.

 A Cast in Flux

The uncertainty isn’t necessarily a bad thing—it could mean the showrunners are planning something big. But with no official word from NBC, everything remains up in the air.

“It’s a new chapter for Firehouse 51—whether we turn the page together or say goodbye to familiar faces is the question,” said an insider close to the show.
