Although Ramsay claims to have played for the Rangers first team three times, there is no documentation to prove that. He actually attended a match in September 1985, in which he was noted as a trial player for Rangers.
Ramsay often participates in Soccer Aid charity matches. He has achieved enormous success in the field of cooking. He has received three Michelin stars and according to Forbes, he earned $62 million in 2018.
