Roseanne Barr, 71, shows off new look as she attends premiere for first big role after her eponymous show was cancelled following racist tweet

Roseanne Barr showed off her weight loss as she attended the Mr. Birchum series premiere in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

The comedian, 71, stars in the animated series, marking her first big role after her eponymous show was cancelled following racist tweet.

She wore a gold patterned shirt and matching trousers, teamed with a stylish green denim jacket.

Roseanne completed the look with dazzling sandals and stylish sunglasses as she posed for snaps at the event.

In the past, the sitcom legend has been open about her cosmetic procedures which include gastric bypass, a nose job, a tummy tuck, a breast reduction and a face-lift.

After she lost nearly a hundred pounds following her 1998 gastric bypass, Roseanne told People Magazine that she was left with a ‘huge overhang’ and ‘had it taken off.’

At an NBC press event in 2014, Roseanne talked about how she had recently lost more weight: ‘I’m just doing the things you’re supposed to do…you know, moving more, and eating less,’ she said.

Roseanne told DailyMailTV in 2019 that she was ready for more and will be going back to the doctor get consultations on future procedures.

‘Now I want a waist,’ she sated. ‘I don’t have a waist.’

Mr. Birchum marks Roseanne’s return to TV after her eponymous show was cancelled following a racist tweet.

She recently wrote on Twitter: ‘As one of the most influential wrong persons I am very proud to be a part of this fantastic series. Also, I am absolutely brilliant in it! Check it out Sunday!’

Her Roseanne co-star John Goodman recently said he has no regrets about defending his longtime friend.

The actress later claimed the tweet was written while she was on Ambien and that she had no idea Jarrett was black.

Producer Wanda Skyes tweeted that she would not be returning to the show, while actor Gilbert condemned Barr’s ‘abhorrent’ comments. ABC cancelled the series that same day.
