Roseanne Barr screams in bizarre interview

Sacked sitcom star Roseanne Barr has shocked viewers with a bizarre interview, in which she tries to address the tweet that saw her show axed.

The video, posted to Roseanne’s Youtube page, has had over a million views and showed a dishevelled looking actress smoking a cigarette while appearing frustrated with the producer’s questions.

The 65-year-old however quickly lost it and started shouting about the Valerie Jarrett tweet.

“That’s what my tweet was about. I thought the b**ch was white, goddammit. I thought the b**ch was white. F**k!”

In her notorious tweet she claimed the former Barack Obama adviser was a creation of the Muslim Brotherhood and Planet of the Apes.

After the show was axed on May 29, Roseanne apologised for the tweet, but still believed it ‘wasn’t racist’.

“Don’t feel sorry for me, guys,” she tweeted.

“I just want to apologise to the hundreds of people, and wonderful writers (all liberal) and talented actors who lost their jobs on my show due to my stupid tweet.”

In a later tweet she told fans not to defend her as she had done something unforgivable.

“It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defended-it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn’t but…don’t defend it please. ty.”

In Australia Network Ten also pulled Roseanne off the air.

“Network Ten is appalled and disgusted with Ms Barr’s racist tweet and has removed Roseanne from TEN and ELEVEN, effective immediately,” a spokesperson said in a statement at the time.
