According to TVInsider, The Madison star Elle Chapman recently hinted that filming has already finished for The Madison Season 2. In a now-expired Instagram Story from Dec. 20, 2025, Chapman shared a photo that appears to show the actor, her The Madison co-star Patrick J. Adams, and three other people walking on an airport tarmac. “And that’s a wrap on Season 2,” Chapman captioned the image.
While The Madison is never explicitly mentioned by Chapman in the post, it’s clear that it is the show she is referring to, given that her IMDb page features the Yellowstone spinoff as the only series she is currently part of. The Madison was reported to have been renewed for a second season back in August 2025 by Deadline, although no official production announcements were ever made.
Originally developed under the working title 2024, The Madison is described as “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection following a New York City family in the Madison River valley of central Montana.” Michelle Pfeiffer leads the ensemble cast of The Madison as wealthy matriarch Stacy Clyburn. Chapman and Beau Garrett are playing her two daughters, Paige and Abigail, respectively, while Adams is reportedly playing Paige’s husband. Matthew Fox, Ben Schnetzer, Amiah Miller, and Kurt Russell also star.
How Is The Madison Connected to Yellowstone?
At the time of writing, it has not been revealed how The Madison is connected to Yellowstone. So far, all the spinoffs have been centered around the Dutton family, following them from 1883 through 1923 and into the present day. However, none of the characters revealed so far for The Madison are part of the Dutton family. With the spinoff expected to debut on Paramount+ within the next year, fans should find out soon enough why the show is part of the Yellowstone franchise and not just a standalone project similar to Taylor Sheridan’s other streaming hits.
However, ahead of The Madison, Yellowstone fans have the series premiere of Y: Marshals to look forward to on March 1. The upcoming spinoff, per the official logline, follows Yellowstone fan favorite Kayce Dutton as he joins an “elite unit of U.S. Marshals,” where he will combine “his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”
Luke Grimes reprises his role as Kayce Dutton in Y: Marshals. Gil Birmingham, Brecken Merrill, and Moses Brings Plenty are also back as their respective Yellowstone characters Thomas Rainwater, Tate Dutton, and Mo. All four will be series regulars in the new spinoff, along with Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, Tatanka Means, and Logan Marshall-Green.
