Ghosts season 4 will see Sam and Jay go through some marital problems. CBS’ hit comedy based on the original UK series is almost back for a brand-new adventure in Woodstone Mansion. While the spirits in the home are set in a few exciting storylines, including Isaac’s reunion with Patience and Pete further exploring his newfound powers, their human caretakers are slated for a rough patch moving forward. Sam and Jay’s relationship has been very solid thus far, bar some minor arguments here and there. Ghosts season 4, however, is slated to challenge them.
In an interview with TV Line, co-showrunner Joe Port reveals that Jay and Sam’s relationship “is going to be tested a little bit as they’re spread kind of thin with what will be two fledgling businesses.” He doesn’t say how exactly these challenges will play out, but it makes sense, considering the nearing opening of his dream restaurant. While the couple deals with their issues, some spirits will have their own arcs, including Sass getting a new love interest, while Hetty and Alberta take Sam under their wing in “helping her with a couple big goals.”
