The actress, 35, married her longtime partner, Dylan Meyer, in Los Angeles on Sunday, April 20. PEOPLE has confirmed that the couple picked up their marriage license in Los Angeles County on Tuesday, April 15.
TMZ, which was the first to break the news, initially reported that the pair wed at Stewart’s L.A. home. However, PEOPLE has learned that the intimate wedding ceremony actually took place at Casita Del Campo. The Mexican restaurant posted on Instagram that it would be closed on Sunday for “a private event day and night.”
The simple wedding was attended by a close group of family and friends, including Ashley Benson and her husband, Brandon Davis, who matched in black outfits and brought an Hermes wedding gift.
Also in attendance was Stewart’s Living for the Dead co-creator CJ Romero.

Stewart wore a light gray mini skirt and a matching cardigan over a cropped white T-shirt for the occasion. She paired her set with black shoes.

Meyer also had matching black accents, including black loafers and black socks, and a long black bow to accessorize her ponytail. She juxtaposed the black with a cream silk mini dress that featured a sheer top half.
During the ceremony, the officiant held up objects such as bandaids, a clock and a mug.
A representative for Stewart did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.
Stewart and Meyer went Instagram official with their relationship in October 2019 and got engaged in 2021.
In November 2021, the Love Lies Bleeding star shared that she envisioned a “chill” L.A. wedding for herself during an interview on Sirius XM’s Howard Stern Show.
“I want to stay home. I want to be in LA so everyone can come,” Stewart said. “I want it to be pretty chill. I don’t want anyone walking anyone down any aisles. We’re just going to, like, stand and do vows and f—— party after. It’s kind of just a great excuse to get together and say ‘I love you’ in front of all your friends.”
She continued, “We’re either going to have, like, no one — we’re just going to do it ourselves and just, like, not have somebody officiate to sort of, like, have another party involved in, like, our moment — but we did hear that Guy Fieri from the Food Network officiates a lot of gay weddings. And so the idea of that man — that sweet, sweet spiky-headed man — coming to our wedding and officiating, it just makes me laugh so much.”
Stewart previously opened up to host Howard Stern about the first time she told Meyer she loved her.
“It was really late and we were in some s—– bar, and her friends were there or whatever and they walked out, and I was just like, ‘Oh, man, I’m so f—— in love with you.’ Like, done,” she recalled in a November 2019 appearance on his show. “It wasn’t like ‘a thing,’ and it also was so obvious.”
