Sheldon & Mary Have Intense Fight In Germany In Young Sheldon Season 7 Premiere Clip
A new Young Sheldon season 7 premiere clip shows Mary and Sheldon arguing in Germany about whether they will return to Medford after the tornado.
A brand new Young Sheldon season 7 premiere video shows Mary and Sheldon arguing about coming home. Following an extended break, the Coopers’ story will continue after the dramatic Young Sheldon season 6 finale, which saw Mary and Sheldon leave for Germany. Meanwhile, the rest of the family left home to deal with the latest Medford tornado. As they move forward, it’s curious if the clan will reunite right away in Young Sheldon season 7.
The official Young Sheldon YouTube channel shares a new clip from the Young Sheldon season 7 premiere, “A Weiner Schnitzel and Underwear in a Tree,” and it shows Mary and Sheldon arguing about the idea of coming home from Germany. Watch the clip below:
In the Young Sheldon season 7 clip, Mary insists that they need to come home to help the family after the tornado. Sheldon refuses, arguing that not only are his studies more important, but going back can’t change what happened to Meemaw’s house getting destroyed. In the end, Connie tells them that they should stay put in Germany.
Will Sheldon & Mary Come Home In The Young Sheldon Season 7 Premiere?
Per The Big Bang Theory canon, only Mary ends up coming home. Despite Connie’s advice, the Cooper matriarch feels like she needs to return to Medford and help the family recover from the catastrophe. It’s no secret, however, that Young Sheldon has deviated from the established continuity many times in the past. Given this, there’s no guarantee that this will be the case in Young Sheldon season 7. It’s possible that Mary is able to eventually convince her son that it’s best for everyone that they go home.
Considering Young Sheldon season 7’s shortened run, however, it’s best for Mary and Sheldon to reunite with the rest of the Cooper family. Sheldon has long been isolated from the clan, ever since he started college at East Texas Tech. In its final season, The Big Bang Theory prequel needs to actively re-incorporate him into the ensemble to further highlight the show’s family dynamic, which has become its main draw in the last few years. Granted, he will still spend time at school, but he will have to come home at the end of the day.
It’s also worth noting that while Mandy and Georgie’s new show will serve as the continuation of Young Sheldon, the prequel will be the final opportunity to show Sheldon within the Cooper household. Once The Big Bang Theory prequel ends, he will live separately from his family until the foreseeable future. This makes it more important that he spends as much time with his parents and siblings before he inevitably moves to Pasadena, California.
