‘SO SAD!’ The Good Doctor cast members ‘flooded with memories’ as they film series finale
THE Good Doctor cast members have taken a look back into the glory days of filming the series while working on the finale.
Several members of the crew shared their thoughts on the journey they’ve had with the series on social media.
With the final filming day for The Good Doctor coming up, they’ve been feeling nostalgic about their time on the show and the memories made there.
Actress Christina Chang, who plays Dr. Audrey Lim, shared a photo of herself in scrubs in-character.
“Day 1 as Dr. Audrey Lim, September 2017,” she captioned her snapshot.
“On the eve of our final day of filming, flooded with so many memories. Thankful for The Good Cast + The Good Crew + The Good Fans,” she wrote on Thursday.
“7 years x 126 episodes, let’s finish strong,” she added.
Fiona Gubelmann, who plays Dr. Morgan Reznick, shared even more memories to her own account.
“From my first day on set to now my last. The journey has been life changing. I’ve loved every minute of it. Thank you to everyone involved in The Good Doctor for everything,” she wrote, accompanying her photo set.
Included in the images she shared were photos of her first day on set, her first episode script, her first time getting into scrubs, and a breakdown of her original audition.
The last photo was of a “beautiful tree” Fiona saw during her walk toward the audition before she snagged her part.
Other members of the cast chimed in as well with their own tributes to the show as well as behind-the-scenes photos.
Each shared the same sentiment, thanking the show for life-changing memories that would stick with them long beyond its end.
Fans headed to the comment section to let the actors know they were feeling sentimental (and some of them blue) about the show coming to an end.
“So sad!!! My favorite show and loved your character Dr Morgan so much,” one wrote to Fiona.
“I’m crying,” added another.
“I will never get over at how this show deserved so many more seasons,” wrote a third commenter.
“I’m gonna miss this show so much,” a fourth fan lamented.
The medical drama welcomed back two members of the cast for the final season.
It also brought two new cast members to round out the crew while it appraoches the end of the line.
Both Antonia Thomas and Brandon Larracuente were selected to return for the final season, portraying Dr. Claire Brown and Dr. Daniel Perez resepctively.
Dr. Brown was a regular during the first four seasons of the series, while Dr. Perez was a maintay during the sixth season.
The two new cast members who joined for the final season include Ruby Kelley, known for her short film called Push.
Guillermo Diaz, who appeared in Scandal, will show up as a guest in another episode before the series concludes.
