“Station 51 Faces Its Toughest Test Yet — And Not Everyone Makes It Out”

Season 12 of ” Chicago Fire ” arrives on NBC. After a season finale that kept us on edge and left one of its characters hanging in the balance, we’re left wondering what will happen next. The return of Taylor Kinney and the departure of Kara Killmer and Alberto Rosende have also been confirmed.

The final season was one of the most turbulent in the series and brought a multitude of changes. Hawkins’ death, Severide ‘s supposedly temporary departure , and Carver ‘s problematic arrival were the most notable events. However, several issues remained unresolved, and we’re having to wait longer than usual due to delays caused by the strike. Season 12 of “Chicago Fire” premiered on NBC this Wednesday, January 17.

How Season 11 Ended

“Chicago Fire” episode 11×22 brought us all kinds of emotions, going from joy to fear in just a few minutes. A car accident call led to a major case that kept the entire team on edge. Stella discovered a highly dangerous bullet in a car at the scene of an accident and quickly called Casey, fearing it was related to the possible attack expected in the city.

Casey rushed to Chicago, mobilizing the FBI and all the key figures in the investigation. As soon as they learned of an attack related to a fire at a power plant, they rushed there. The firefighters had to take cover from the gunfire, while Casey, Stella, Carver, and Gallo tried to surprise the shooter before it was too late.’

Although they managed to arrest one of the attackers (and the other was arrested hours later by the FBI), Mouch was wounded by shrapnel. The man was treated at the hospital and appeared to be recovering easily, but his wound somehow reopened and he lost a lot of blood. Herrmann witnessed his friend lose consciousness, and we don’t know if Mouch will survive.

Meanwhile, Sylvie managed to convince the baby’s mother to claim custody on her behalf and give the baby up for adoption. Brett has been fighting to adopt the baby and is finally going to succeed. Furthermore, Casey proposed to Brett , leaving their future open. Finally, Stella decided to leave in search of Kelly and bring him back.

Synopsis “Chicago Fire” Season 12

There’s no official synopsis yet, but we do know that the season premiere will answer three questions. First, we’ll find out whether Mouch will survive or not; his life has been left hanging by the massive amount of blood loss. It would be an unfair way for him to die, and we hope his passing isn’t mourned.

On the other hand, it remains to be seen whether Brett accepts Casey ‘s marriage proposal and what this means for their future on the series. Casey now lives in Portland, and if Brett accepts, it means one of them will have to move. With the news that Kara Killmer will be leaving the series in the new season, rumors point to a happy ending for the couple.

Finally, we’ll learn what motivated Kelly Severide to be absent from “Chicago Fire” for several months . Stella has begun to have doubts about whether her husband plans to return to her or if he’ll end up being like his father and wandering the country, leaving pain and broken hearts in his wake.

Distribution

The cast of “Chicago Fire” Season 12 is more up in the air than ever. For now, we can be pretty sure that Miranda Rae Mayo, David Eigenberg, Eamonn Walker, Hanako Greensmith, Alberto Rosende, Joe Minoso, Daniel Kyri, Jake Lockett, Randy Flagler, and Anthony Ferraris will return. The only remaining doubts are Christian Stolte ‘s continuity .

On another note, a piece of news fans have been waiting for months has been confirmed: Kelly Severide’s return home . After Taylor Kinney took a well-deserved break from the series, many feared this departure would become permanent, but we no longer have to worry. The latest news assures us that we will reunite with Severide in Season 12 of “Chicago Fire.” However, it has been confirmed that both Kara Killmer and Alberto Rosende will be leaving the series at the beginning of Season 12.
