Chicago Fire season 13 already has a confirmed personal storyline for Stella Kidd, and it risks further vilifying Kelly Severide. It would be an understatement to say that Firehouse 51 underwent a lot of changes in Chicago Fire season 12. Coming from a particularly rocky year, the beloved firehouse saw several big departures, including Sylvie Brett and Chief Wallace Boden. However, work didn’t stop, forcing the team to continue putting their best game on every call. For Severide and Kidd, however, their professional hurdles over at Firehouse 51 were made trickier by their crisis-ridden marriage.
It’s no secret that things haven’t been easy for Severide and Kidd since they tied the knot in the Chicago Fire season 10 finale. By then, the pair had gone through so much together, so seeing them get married was a major treat. There’s also no doubt that they truly love each other. Unfortunately, however, there are so many other factors at play when maintaining a relationship. Kelly’s behavior in Chicago Fire season 11 while he was on an OFI training camp haunted the couple in season 12. Come season 13, however, things will likely continue to be rocky.
