Taylor Kinney Is Married! Chicago Fire Star Marries Model Ashley Cruger After 2 Years Dating

Taylor Kinney is married!

The Chicago Fire actor, 42, married model Ashley Cruger on April 30 “in a small, private ceremony in Chicago,” where Kinney recently wrapped shooting season 12 of his hit NBC drama, a rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Kinney and Cruger have been together since 2022, with Kinney sharing his first photo of Cruger on Instagram in March of that year.

The couple officially went public with their relationship that April, when they attended a charity event together in Utah. Cruger then debuted Kinney on her Instagram account the same month, posting a photo of them attending a race in Texas.

Although the pair haven’t publicly discussed their relationship, they have posted pictures of one another on social media. In April 2023, Cruger shared a kissing selfie of her and her beau from their Easter celebration.

This is the first marriage for Kinney, though he was previously engaged to Lady Gaga. The two called off their engagement in July 2016.

Meanwhile, Kinney recently returned as Lt. Kelly Severide for the 12th and current season of Chicago Fire after taking a hiatus from the show.

The season premiere picked up with a six-month time jump — and a steamy shower scene that marked Kinney’s first appearance on the NBC series since Feb. 22, 2023.
