Picture it — New York City, 1923. A baby girl was born on July 25, and she would end up becoming an incredibly successful actress.
That girl was Estelle Getty, and she would have been 93 years old today. Getty is best known as the wise-cracking Sophia Petrillo on The Golden Girls, living in Miami with her daughter, Dorothy, and two other women, Blanche and Rose.
