Sawyer Sweeten, famous for his role as a twin brother in the American sitcom “Everybody Loves Raymond,” took his own life on April 23 at the age of 19.

“This morning, a family tragedy occurred,” Sweeten’s sister Madylin said in a statement, published in Variety.

“We are devastated to announce that our beloved brother, Sawyer Sweeten, has committed suicide. Sweeten was just a few weeks shy of his 20th birthday.”
Sweeten is said to have committed suicide with a gun while visiting family in Texas.

He played a character named Geoffrey Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond,” a television series that aired on CBS from 1996 to 2005.

In the show, he starred alongside his real-life twin brother Sullivan and sister Madylin, in 139 episodes.

The brothers were just 16 months old when they started filming.

“During this sensitive moment, our family asks for privacy and we ask that you return to your loved ones,” Madylin wrote.

The film is very popular in many countries, largely thanks to the cuteness of the twin brothers Sawer and Sullivan./.
