I love the first week of March Madness. From filling out a bracket to watching all the buzzer-beaters and upsets, it’s truly one of the most enjoyable sporting events of the year. And then Sunday night rolls around, and I’ve lost the majority of my bets, and three of my four Final Four teams have already been bounced.
March Madness giveth and March Madness taketh away.
Unfortunately, the arrival of the tourney means that a few of your favorite CBS shows are going on a temporary hiatus. But it’s not all bad news. When Fire Country and Sheriff Country return, it’ll be for a special two-hour crossover event!

Both Fire Country and Sheriff Country return with new episodes on Friday, April 3, 2026. And not only that… it’s a two-hour crossover event!
Sheriff Country will start the night at 8:00 p.m. ET (Episode 13: “The Finest”), followed by Fire Country at 9:00 p.m. ET (Season 4, Episode 13: “The Bravest”).
