General Hospital Hit With Sidwell’s Villainy
Truth be told, Sidwell morphing into a quip-throwing, Dalton-killing baddie shouldn’t have worked. But somehow, Carlo Rota — perhaps by committing fully to the schtick — made it a highlight of the week. Whether doing a dead-on Jason impersonation or shocking Britt (and us) by casually murdering Dalton, Rota left us afraid to turn away for even a moment lest we miss something thrilling, chilling… or laugh-out-loud funny. We suspect this week’s actions severely shortened the character’s shelf life, but we can’t wait to see what he does next!
Beyond the Gates Missed With Hayley’s Poisonous Plot
Was it only a few short weeks ago that Randy and Hayley discussed their long history of conning rich men outta their money? We got the impression they were professionals… but lately, it’s felt more like amateur hour where their attempts to do away with Bill are concerned. Worse, it’s dumbing down other character in the process. Did Naomi really think that her friend-turned-stepmonster knocked that tea cup out of her hand because of a few germs? And Hayley isn’t even being discreet in her come-ons to Izaiah, whom she knows to be the brother of her husband’s son-in-law! We love to watch Marquita Goings every move, but we need the writers to respect Hayley’s brain the way Bill worships her body. (Read Goings’ take on the plot here.)
