It’s been quite a while since Liam’s had a front-burner storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful. After collapsing and hitting his head twice, Liam’s got his (recovery) work cut out for him. His portrayer, Scott Clifton, ,recently commented not only on his longevity on the show, but also on being a soap actor for 20 years.
He’s a Pretender
On X, formerly Twitter, Clifton wrote, “Time flies when you’re… pretending to be someone else. ❤️.” With that, he retweeted a soap news site talking about him starting out in the soap world 20 years ago. Also included was a collage with him on the right from the present day. On the left were three screenshots from when he played Dillon on General Hospital.
The first was one of Dillon and Lulu, who was then played by Julie Marie Berman. Next was him at Bobbie’s when it went by the name Kelly’s, talking to Mike, Sonny’s father, who was played at the time by actor Ron Hale. Last was one of Dillon and the late Georgie (Lindze Letherman), before the Text Message Killer deleted her.
He Was Shipped
Darin Brooks, who plays Liam’s B&B brother Wyatt, hilariously reacted, “Eyyyyyy there he is!!! Congrats brother!!! 🙌🙌🔥🔥👏👏.” One fan was over the moon after seeing Clifton’s GH pics and commented, “Loved you as Dillon! Dillon & Georgie were the first couple I ‘shipped’, I guess you would say. They were the reason I started looking up soap stuff on the internet instead of just the mags. So basically, this is all your fault. 😆😆😆.”
Many of his fans sent congratulations and reminisced about his GH days, with one writing, “I loved Dillon and Georgie #GH.” Another follower shared their hopeful but realistic wish with, “I love Dillion, and I wish they would bring the character back. I wish you’d come back, but I’m pretty sure that’s not going to happen.” And he was showered with praise by the comment, “You are the best thing that ever happened to…every show you’re in.
