The ‘FBI’ Team Investigates the Blkpill Crimes in Season 7, Episode 18 Promo

Blackpill and manosphere topics have been entering the mainstream with shows like Adolesence, but FBI has always been ahead of the curve. The internet has opened a new crime frontier where young people, young men especially, can be radicalised in their bedrooms. They are fed harmful ideologies about gender and women, leading to serious confusion and mental struggles. However, these effects are not always internal; some take them into the real world. “After two women are brutally murdered via napalm, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) and OA (Zeeko Zaki) are led to a dating site where they discover a group of scorned users who are targeting women who reject them,” reads the logline for FBI Season 7 Episode 8, “Blkpill,” preveiwign the weeks case which tackles the real-world effects of these ideologies. CBS released a sneak peek of the episode airing on April 15, previewing the case particulars.

Like many other emotions, anger needs an outlet. That outlet can be good or bad. In the case of the team’s suspect, he lets it out on innocent women on the street. The video shows a woman wearing a headscarf being doused with some liquid, and when the team responds to the scene, they find her burned to death. “Online anger escalates to real-world violence,” says Isobel (Alana De La Garza), summarizing the entire case. The headcovering worn by the woman in the promo teases another layer to this crime since it could have religious motivations in addition to misogyny. It’s a race against time to find the culprit, and everyone involved must bring them to justice before more lives are lost.

‘FBI’ Season 7 Sets Finale Date and Storyline

FBI is the only show in the franchise that will return in the 2025-2026 TV season. The show was previously renewed for new seasons, but its spinoffs failed to secure a renewal. CBS has set May 20 as the date for the Season 7 finale. “After Jubal (Jeremy Sisto) narrowly escapes a calculated assault on a secret FBI office, the team discovers a rogue terrorist group has infiltrated the FBI. Unsure of who to trust, the team must work in the shadows to unmask the culprits threatening the sanctity of the New York field office,” reads the logline for FBI Season 7, Season 22, “A New Day.” One the same night, FBI: Most Wanted will air its series finale in which “The Fugitive Task Force hunts down a rogue government operative planning a domestic terror attack.” Are these events related in any way?

Tune in to CBS on Tuesdays to watch new episodes of FBI Season 7 before the season finale on May 20.
