Golden Bachelor’s Gerry Turner and his fiancée Lana Sutton marked a sweet milestone in their relationship four months after getting engaged: “There have been many great days over the last 12 months.”
Gerry Turner and Lana Sutton are making moves.
In fact, just months after getting engaged, the Golden Bachelor alum and his fiancée marked another exciting milestone: purchasing their forever home.
“Ther[sic] have been many great days over the last 12 months traveling, bonding families, building a loving and fun relationship with Lana,” Gerry captioned a Feb. 21 Instagram carousel featuring pics of him and Lana posing in front of their new home and flashing the key to their property. “But yesterday was one of the very best.”
“Finding our perfect home was an arduous journey,” he added. “So gratifying to close on our new home together.”
And Bachelor Nation is celebrating that milestone with them as Joan Vassos chimed in to comment, “Wow! So happy for you both,” while host Jesse Palmer added, “Congrats you two!!!”
Gerry and Lana’s latest celebration comes four months after they announced their engagement after seven months of dating.
“We’ve got BIG news,” the 74-year-old wrote on Instagram Oct. 3. “The Golden Bachelor is OFF the market. I found my perfect match and she said ‘YES’. I Love this woman.”

Lana, who is a retired teacher, marked the occasion on her respective Instagram account writing, “BIG announcement……we’re ENGAGED! The Golden Bachelor Season 1 led me to the man of my dreams…..Gerry Turner!!! I love you, Babe, more than I ever thought possible! We are perfect together! I am so proud of US as a couple.”
Gerry—who married and subsequently split from Golden Bachelor winner Theresa Nist in the months following their time on the ABC dating show—previously opened up about finding love with Lana, after she politely slid into his DMs as he navigated life with his cancer diagnosis.
“There is a joy in living like you’re dying,” the Golden Years author said during a joint interview with Lana on the Tamron Hall Show in November. “Everything is sweeter there’s a lot more empathy there’s a lot more caring and then the right person pops up and it’s a really pleasant, intense feeling every single day.”
As for their next chapter? For them it was simply looking forward to spending their golden years together.
“We’ve successfully gotten to the point where we’re engaged, we’re public,” he said. “I’m selling my house. The next step is we’ll be living together in Westfield, so that’s close to her family.”
