Yes. ABC announced that it was renewing The Good Doctor for Season 7 on April 19, 2023. Unfortunately, Season 7 (which is currently airing) will also be the show’s last.

Normally, the show will have returned in the fall of 2023, but its production was delayed due to the Hollywood strikes. Instead, the show premiered on Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2024, at 10 p.m. ET.
What happened in The Good Doctor Season 6 finale?
The Season 6 finale, called “Love’s Labor,” aired on May 1, and a lot went down in the episode. Shaun and Lea welcomed their son, Steven (named for Shaun’s brother); Glassman, Shaun’s surrogate father, failed to show up for the birth; andDr. Perez, a recovering opioid addict, left to seek treatment back home with his family in Texas. The other big plot point? Dr. Andrews resigned as president of St. Bonaventure Hospital after the hospital’s board pressured him to choose between his job and his girlfriend, nurse Dalisay Villanueva (Elfina Luk).
