The Good Doctor season seven suffers a schedule shake-up, leaving dedicated fans disappointed after welcoming the show back last month.
Dr Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) has entered into fatherhood at the start of series seven, with Lea Dilallo (Paige Spara) giving birth to their son Steven in the sixth season finale.
ABC viewers have been thrilled to see the talented surgeon adjust to a new way of life with help from his wife and his mentor Dr Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff).
After clearing the air over Shaun “helping” to speed up Glassman’s retirement plans, the veteran doctor was able to officially meet his Godson, leaving them both teary-eyed.
The Good Doctor season seven has been airing on Tuesday nights, instead of Mondays where it has been for the previous six series.
Unfortunately, the third episode, Critical Support, wasn’t shown as expected on Tuesday, March 5, and won’t be back for another two weeks.
This is because ABC is showing Super Tuesday, hosted by journalist David Muir, in its place, as part of the 2024 election.
So The Good Doctor won’t be returning to the small screen until Tuesday, March 19, on the network.
