Some great news for fans of ABC’s ‘The Good Doctor’ and ‘Will Trent’ as the network has officially renewed both series for the 2023-24 season.
Following continually impressive ratings, it should be no surprise to hear that ‘The Good Doctor’ has now been officially renewed for Season 7 by ABC. The series is currently airing its sixth season with new episodes Monday nights on ABC. The Season season 6 finale is scheduled to air on May 1.
‘The Good Doctor’ stars Freddie Highmore, Hill Harper, Richard Schiff, Christina Chang, Fiona Gubelmann, Will Yun Lee, and Paige Spara along with more.
‘The Good Doctor’ Series Synopsis: Dr. Shaun Murphy (Freddie Highmore), a young surgeon with autism and savant syndrome, has worked tirelessly to prove to his colleagues that his extraordinary medical gifts will save lives. All while planning a wedding, season five sees Shaun navigate more uncertainties as a major change comes to St. Bonaventure. Meanwhile, the rest of the team must also navigate the complexities of their own changing relationships as they continue to deal with life and death situations.
The freshman series ‘Will Trent’ has also been renewed for Season 2 on ABC. You can find new episodes of ‘Will Trent’ airing Tuesday nights on ABC with its Season 1 finale scheduled to air on May 2.
The series stars Ramón Rodríguez, Erika Christensen, Iantha Richardson, Jake Mclaughlin, and Sonja Sohn.
