The Good Doctor is making a comeback after the turbulent ride of season four earlier this year. The ABC drama depicts the life of talented young doctor Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) both professionally and personally with the upcoming season expected to be one of the most emotional yet. Asher Wolke – Noah Galvin
He is the openly gay son of a Hasidic Rabbi who decided to leave his community to go to medical school and became an atheist.
Actor Noah Galvin has since been upped to a series regular after his appearances in the latest season.
The 27-year-old actor is best known for playing Kenny O’Neal in ABC’s The Real O’Neals and also performed as the titular character in the Broadway musical Dear Evan Hansen.
Mateo Rendón Osma – Osvaldo Benavides
Having starred in only the two-part season four finale, actor Osvaldo Benavides will be back full-time in The Good Doctor when it returns.
He will be reprising his role as Dr Mateo Rendon Osma who fans met when the team went to Guatemala and had a brief romance with Audrey Lim (Christina Chang).
Actor Benavides is a Mexican actor who starred in Netflix’s drama Monarca which debuted in 2019.
Some of his other work includes Dust to Dust, La bella y las bestias and The Perfect Dictatorship.
