The Good Doctor season 20 picked up 14 and a half weeks after the opening episode, which saw an attack on the staff at San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. While the staff was starting to move on from the incident, some were still reeling from the life-changing effects. There were also some new faces joining the ABC show as interns – here’s a look at the cast for Change in Perspective.
Who is in The Good Doctor season 6, episode 2 cast?
Savannah Welch joined the show this week as new intern Dr Danica Powell as she started to find her feet at the hospital.
Prior to The Good Doctor, Welch had starred in films The Transcendents, Boyhood, The Tree of Life, and Casey Jones.
She also starred in the TV show Titans as Barbara Gordon and had a small role in The Handmaid’s Tale as Sam.
Dr Daniel Perez – Brandon Larracuente
Brandon Larracuente was another newbie intern playing Dr Daniel Perez, who will be put to the test with medical emergencies.
Larracuente is likely to be familiar with viewers for his part as Jeff Atkins in Netflix’s hard-hitting teen drama series 13 Reasons Why.
He has also starred in Bloodline, Versus, Party of Five and The Rookie, as well as film roles in Pembroke Circle, Baywatch and The Glades.
The actor shared a black-and-white image on Instagram with his 810,000 followers and wrote: “My time so far on @thegooddoctorabc has been one of the best experience’s I’ve ever had on set.
“To be able to work with and learn from such an inviting and talented cast and crew everyday, has made me fall in love with what I get to do for work all over again.
“Seeing all of the hard work and dedication that goes behind making this show, fills me with pride to be a part of it.”
Dr. Asher Wolke – Noah Galvin
Noah Galvin reprises his role as Dr Asher Wolke, who seems amused by the new interns as he gets ready to put them through their paces.
His other roles have included The Two Princes, The Owl House, The Real O’Neals, Co-Ed and the film Booksmart.
Dr. Audrey Lim – Christina Chang
Christina Chang was back as Dr. Audrey Lim, who was now in a wheelchair with the implication the emergency surgery on her liver left her unable to walk.
She was also struggling to return to the operating theatre with the trauma of her assault still fresh in her mind.
Chang has also featured in Rizzoli & Isles, Lucifer, Nashville, Revenge, Single Ladies, and NCIS.
Dr. Aaron Glassman – Richard Schiff
Richard Schiff will continue to serve as a wise mentor in the role of Dr. Aaron Glassman but he will also be suffering from back problems of his own.
Schiff is best known for the American political drama The West Wing as well as Showtime’s The Affair, and The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
Dr. Shaun Murphy – Freddie Highmore
British star Freddie Highmore is again back as Shaun Murphy, who feels a great deal of guilt over Audrey’s injuries with the doctor blaming him for her life-changing situation.
Murphy has had a successful career starting off as a child actor in the likes of Finding Neverland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory before going on to star as a young Norman Bates in Bates Motel.
