The Good Doctor will soon be over and some guest stars are making a comeback before it’s gone for good.
ABC viewers are making the most of Shaun Murphy (played by Freddie Highmore) and his friends at St Bonaventure Hospital as the award-winning medical drama is almost over.
Season seven, episode nine, Unconditional, will be its penultimate episode so fans are expecting a lot to happen as the show reaches its big finale.
Who guest stars in The Good Doctor season seven episode nine?
Ahead of Unconditional’s release on Tuesday, May 14, a teaser showed that Dr Claire Browne (Antonia Thomas) would be joining the cast once again.
She left The Good Doctor at the end of season four to take up a job in Guatemala, showing up for just a handful of episodes in the following series.
As teased in the trailer for the penultimate instalment, Claire returns to the US for a “personal medical examination”, where she was tested for breast cancer.
She believes her results are negative but upon further inspection, Shaun states that she has actually got the disease and it’s up to him to tell his friend.
Actress Antonia Thomas had been in The Good Doctor from the very beginning.
Some of her other work has included Misfits, Lovesick, Still Up, Suspect and Teletubbies, which she was the narrator of from 2015 to 2018.
Rochelle – Bethany Brown
Rochelle has popped up in The Good Doctor for a number of episodes since season four made its debut.
She had been in Frontline Part One and Part Two and appeared in a handful of others, most recently appearing in season seven’s Date Night and MCE.
What part she is going to play this time around as the drama comes to an end though, remains unclear.
Actress Bethany Brown has previously starred in The 100, Charmed, The Flash and Nancy Drew, just to list some of her previous projects.
Hannah Ayleston – Ruby Kelley
Drug addict Hanna Ayleston has already been in a couple of episodes of The Good Doctor and will be back for episodes nine and 10.
She has been getting help from Dr Aaron Glassman (Richard Schiff) to tackle her drug abuse but it may result in causing more problems for the veteran doctor.
Actress Ruby Kelley has only been in a couple of other shorts before but has been brought up in the world of entertainment, given that her dad is none other than Glassman star Richard Schiff.
