The Hottest Crime Drama Stars We’re Swooning Over – Check Out the Full List

Crime dramas have it all — danger, mystery and a whole lot of suspense — making them the perfect binge watch or weekly viewing. But if you’re being honest with yourself, you mostly tune into your favorite crime drama for the hunky leads that you can’t take your eyes off of.

Stars in shows like Blue Bloods and Law & Order: SVU have kept us watching each week thanks to characters like the serious but lovable Frank Reagan or the protective Elliot Stabler. It’s the reason we’ve ranked some of the hunkiest heartthrobs of the crime drama world — from Tom Selleck to Jeremy Sisto — for your viewing pleasure.

Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan, Blue Bloods

man at desk

He stole our hearts as Thomas Magnum on Magnum, P.I., but we couldn’t help but fall for him all over again as Police Commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods. Tom Selleck is known for his successful career, good looks and, of course, the mustache. When he joined Blue Bloods as the series lead, we knew it would be a must-watch and we were right.

He’s been a heartthrob since he broke onto the screen in the early 1970s and nothing has changed since. Selleck was made for crime dramas — or maybe they were made for him — and we wouldn’t want it any other way.

Christopher Meloni as Elliot Stabler, Law & Order: SVU

man posed

When Elliot Stabler stepped onto our screens back in 1999, we knew he’d be a staple on this list. Christopher Meloni’s Stabler fought crime alongside his partner, Olivia Benson, and it only made us love him more.

Jesse Lee Soffer as Jay Halstead, Chicago P.D.

man in uniform

Between portraying Jay Halstead on Chicago P.D. and Wes Mitchell on FBI: International, there was no chance Jesse Lee Soffer wouldn’t be included on a list of crime drama hunks. Soffer first stole our hearts on the soap opera, As the World Turns, and he’s kept them ever since.

Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, Blue Bloods

man in uniform

He’s the son of police commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods, but we love Danny Reagan, AKA Donnie Wahlberg, for his own special qualities. But before he was protecting the streets of New York City, Wahlberg was singing his heart out in the boy band New Kids On The Block. Nowadays, you can tune into an episode of Blue Bloods to catch the former-teen idol in a more serious light, but still as hunky as ever.

Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine, FBI

man in uniform

You’d be lying if you said you don’t love Jeremy Sisto as Jubal Valentine, Assistant Special Agent in Charge, on FBI. He is always the first to take charge of a situation — it’s in his job title, but it adds to his character’s appeal. You may remember Sisto from his role as heartthrob Elton in Clueless (1995), but our love for the actor hasn’t faded. Once a hunk, always a hunk.

David Boreanaz as Seeley Booth, Bones

man posed

We’ve loved David Boreanaz ever since his brooding vampire days on Buffy the Vampire Slayer back in the late ‘90s. But not long after, he joined the cast of Bones as Special Agent Seeley Booth and his hunk status didn’t change.

Peter Scanavino as Dominick ‘Sonny’ Carisi Jr., Law & Order: SVU

man in uniform

It’s no surprise that when Carisi was called to join Olivia Benson’s team that it was for an experienced, yet empathetic detective. Peter Scanavino has been on our hunk radar ever since he joined Law & Order: SVU in 2013, and he’s not going anywhere.

John Boyd as Stuart Scola, FBI

man in action

He may have once been a regular on Wall Street, but Stuart Scola will always be one of our favorite Special Agents. Portrayed by John Boyd, it’s hard not to feel all the feels when Scola is on our screens, especially when he’s fighting bad guys and chasing down leads. Scola will always be a crime drama favorite.

Will Estes as Jamie Reagan, Blue Bloods

man in uniform

Yet another Reagan to make the list, but we just can’t help ourselves — the Reagans are a hunky bunch. Will Estes, who portrays Jamie, the youngest of the Reagan brothers, draws us in without even trying, but the police uniform definitely adds to his status as a crime drama hunk.

Marvel Fans Think Thunderbolts*’ Recent Trailer Confirmed Another Hero, And I Think They’re On To Something

You may recognize him from his coveted role as Will McCullough on The New Lassie (1989-1992), or maybe from the Bon Jovi music video for “It’s My Life,” but wherever it’s from, Will Estes has always been a stud
