This Is the Relationship Advice Erika Christensen Would Give Will & Angie—And It’s So Surprisingly Real

Erika Christense, who plays Angie Polaski in Will Trent, has opened up about what advice she’d give her character and former flame Will Trent if they were friends. Angie and Will have a complicated on-and-off relationship; they continued to go back to each other due to their shared history as foster children. The pair has been romantically involved before, but now it seems unlikely that the two would ever rekindle what they once had. Angie does have a boyfriend, Dr. Seth McDale, while Will has a potential love interest in Marion Alba.

While speaking with ScreenRant’s Rachel Foertsch, Christense discussed whether or not she thinks Angie and Will should get back together or remain friends. She mentioned that if she were friends with the pair, she would advise them to keep their relationship platonic; however, since they’re filming a TV show, Christense hinted that maybe rekindling their romance could add some drama to the series. However, with Angie now pregnant, a romance between them might be off the table for good.

How Angie & Will’s Friendship Will Affect Will Trent Season 4

Even though Angie and Will are no longer in a romantic relationship, their friendship offers both of them a lot of support. Now that Angie is pregnant with Seth’s baby, a friendship might be the best for these former lovers. Despite not being romantically involved, Angie and Will did share a love for each other that will never go away, and may even be there for Angie now that she’s expecting.

Will Trent season 4 will likely explore Angie and Will navigating this new part of their relationship. Even though Christense, who plays Angie, is down for a rekindling romance, Angie and Will are better off as friends than partners. Angie and Will are compelling characters on the show, no matter what their relationship status is.

Our Take On Angie & Will’s Complicated Relationship

Ramon Rodriguez as Will Trent and Erika Christensen as Angie Polaski in Will Trent season 3.

Angie and Will make a great team. Despite their complicated relationship, they have made things work as colleagues, even if Will arrested Angie at the end of Will Trent season 2. They were able to come to terms with their past as a couple and came out stronger than ever as friends and colleagues in Will Trent season 3. Hopefully, Angie and Will’s relationship isn’t so complicated once Will Trent season 4 rolls around.
