The actor looks totally unlike Frank Reagan in new photos.
Tom Selleck was unrecognizable during a rare outing after Blue Bloods ended.
Recently, the 80-year-old actor behind Frank Reagan was spotted while out and about in Los Angeles in photos obtained by The U.S. Sun.
For the excursion, Selleck donned a black T-shirt, black shorts and black sneakers. He wore his hair a natural gray, with his silver beard much fuller than fans are used to seeing.
Selleck, who is also known for starring in Magnum P.I. from 1980 to 1988, reportedly hit the gym before stopping at McDonald’s for a bite to eat. He then filled out paperwork at an office building before heading to a store.
In December 2024, Blue Bloods concluded on CBS. The police procedural drama premiered in 2010 and ran for 14 seasons.
“It was just suddenly when somebody said, ‘Well, we have to wrap it’—it was very quiet for a while. Nobody made speeches,” Selleck told Entertainment Weekly of the last day of filming. “It seemed like something needed to be said. I ended up saying a poem from Edna St. Vincent Millay—’Love is Not All’—and that kind of started a discussion that lasted a couple hours. There were some tears and some hugs and group hugs, single hugs. Nobody wanted it to end.”
All 14 seasons of Blue Bloods are available to stream on Paramount+.
