Everybody Loves Raymond is an American sitcom TV show that is focused on the life of the Barone family. Many of the episodes were entirely based on the main actors’ real-life experiences, including “The Toaster” and many more.

The story mainly revolves around Ray and his wife, Debra. Debra does the majority of the housework and child care, while Ray is lazy and not very helpful. Regardless, everything would be fine if Ray’s parents (Marie and Frank) and socially awkward and giant brother, Robert, didn’t live next door. Let’s take a look at the best episodes of the series.

1. “She’s the One” (Season 7, Episode 9)
Robert thinks that he has found the perfect girl (Angela—a trade lawyer who is able to speak four different languages and cares for Robert), but what’s perfect doesn’t last long. Ray finds out something about her habits and interests that Ray can’t believe, and Robert has to see for himself.


2. “Bad Moon Rising” (Season 4, Episode 22)
Debra starts acting hypersensitive, and she’s annoyed with everything that Ray does, then Ray realizes that Debra is having “women problems,” and therefore he offers his wife a fix—a pill that will help Debra, but it only gets worse.

3. “Frank Paints the House” (Season 5, Episode 24)
Marie makes Frank do something useful because he has retired recently and not contributing much. The task is to paint Ray and Debra’s house. Frank does everything his way and he paints the house in the color that they didn’t want so Ray fires him. Afterwards Marie reveals the real reason that Frank has retired.

4. “The Power of No” (Season 9, Episode 24)
Raymond is trying out his new manipulative theory where he’s turning down Debra every time she tries to be intimate with him.

5. “Angry Family” (Season 6, Episode 1)
The Barones are going to an open house at the twins’ school, where the kids have to read the stories that they’ve written. Most of the kids tell obviously made-up stories, but the angry family in Michael’s story sounds too real.


6. “The Lucky Suit” (Season 6, Episode 16)
Robert gets excited because he is recommended for an FBI job and has an interview. Marie is worried about her son’s safety in the FBI, so she finds creative ways to prevent him from being chosen.

7. “Older Women” (Season 6, Episode 9)
Since Debra’s parents’ divorce, she asks both of them to come for Thanksgiving. She is thrilled when they accept until it is revealed that her father is bringing a date. Everyone is disturbed except for Debra’s mother

8. “Fighting-in-Laws” (Season 5, Episode 9)
Debra’s parents come for Thanksgiving and it is revealed that they are fighting with each other. This is hard for Debra to take as she always felt her parents had a much better relationship that Frank & Marie..

9. “Debra at the Lodge” (Season 8, Episode 11)
Frank hires Debra to help him plan a recruitment party at the lodge and the lodge members begin appreciating Debra for more than her bubbly personality. Ray is not pleased with all the time she is spending away from home.

10. “Everybody Loves Raymond: The Last Laugh” (Season 9, Episode 16)
A one-hour documentary on Raymond. A funny yet also sad farewell to one of the greatest sitcoms of all time.
