‘Tracker’ Season 2 Revisits a Central Plot That Was Ignored for Weeks
Spoiler Alert for Tracker Season 2, Episode 6, “The Collapse of Faith.”
After a rocky start, Tracker Season 2, Episode 6 picks up a central plot the show had abandoned, reviving a dormant plot and adding excitement to the season. IN Tracker Season 2, Episode 6, Colter Shaw (Justin Hartley) is investigating the case of three missing friends when he is asked to take over the case. Searching for the waterfall where his friends disappeared, Colter meets a retired law enforcement officer named Keaton (Brent Sexton). A retiree investigating a mysterious case he has been investigating for 20 years, following Colter’s model of moral justice.
As Keaton’s values align with those of Colter the Tracker team, they quickly trust each other and work together on their mission. Claiming a “reward” to help a retired officer catch a killer. However, the mystery continues as Colter tries to unravel what happened between the missing friends as it is unrelated to the previous string of crimes. Colter eventually reveals the gruesome circumstances that occurred after a tourist was found murdered. Colter Shaw solves the case in “The Fall of Trust,” opening the door for another mystery to continue by adding a recurring character to the story. Tracker throws.
Tracker Season 2 Episode 6 Finally Remembers Gina Pickett
Tracker Season 1 Episode 2 explores the case of Gina Pickett, a missing person.
IN Tracker The second season premiere of the series reveals a long-standing mystery that is plaguing Hartley’s character. Out of the Past stars Camille Pickett (Floriana Lima), whose sister Gina went missing a decade ago. Colter began a relationship with her while he was working on the case. While Colter always tries to solve problems, Gina’s case is special to him because he can’t solve it. Colter enlists Keaton to help him solve Gina’s case in “Trust Fall,” continuing their budding alliance in the second season and ultimately opening the door for Colter to solve Gina’s disappearance.
Coulter feels he can trust the retired officer and appreciates that Keaton understands why a case can haunt a person for years.
The series hasn’t touched on Gina’s case since the first episode, and for an overarching story, that’s a long time to keep a plot on the shelf. Of course, Hartley’s character has been busy with all the work he’s taken on since returning to his sophomore year, but this Issue Tracker needs to be brought up from time to time. Not only does it remind viewers that the storyline is still relevant, it also emphasizes that despite focusing on other issues, Colter is still committed to solving them. Now that Keaton is involved, I wonder when Tracker will finally address this issue again.
Why Tracker Needs to Reveal the Gina Pickett Storyline Sooner Than Later
Colter needs to look into what happened to Ashton Shaw.
After weeks of ignoring this issue, Colter needs to solve Gina’s disappearance as soon as possible for a number of reasons. First, given Colter’s constant travel for work, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to believe that any progress on this issue is being made far away from Arkansas. IN Tracker Season 2 Episode 6, he’s in the Pacific Northwest, far from where Gina disappeared.
Secondly, the longer Colter takes to solve Gina’s case, the more the show has an excuse to push Ashton Shaw’s death aside. While Jensen Ackles’ return as Russell brings some closure to the mystery, it’s hardly enough to really reveal exactly what happened to their father. Going forward, it would be nice to see some clarity on the Shaw family’s case in Tracker Season 2.
