The One Chicago franchise is notorious for crossover episodes, but there hasn’t been a three-way crossover between Chicago Fire, Chicago Med and Chicago P.D. in several years. With all three shows back on air for their respective new seasons, fans are wondering if there will be a One Chicago crossover in 2024. Keep reading to find out.
One Chicago includes NBC’s popular first responder dramas Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med, as well as the now-canceled Chicago Justice. The franchise was created by Derek Haas, Michael Brandt and Dick Wolf, the latter of whom also created the Law & Order and FBI franchises. One Chicago shows have become some of the highest-rated programs in primetime television, with an average of around seven million viewers for each series.
All three Chicago-based shows are set in the same fictional universe and crossovers between them frequently occur, whether it be a character popping up on a sister series or a major crossover event. Fans are long overdue for a three-show crossover, however, as the last one took place in 2019.
