9-1-1, Grey’s Anatomy, The Rookie, Abbott Elementary, High Potential, and Will Trent were all officially renewed as part of ABC’s 2025-26 line-up back at the start of April, which gave fans of the latter-mentioned Will Trent a new perspective on the current season. One of ABC’s most unlikely successes, the series has continued to bring clever drama and neat action throughout its third-season lineup, with the post-renewal episodes being received with an extra spring in fans’ steps.
Following last week’s Episode 14, “A Funeral Fit for a Quartermaine,” the explosive drama of Will Trent is ready to be ramped up even more, certainly if the promo for the upcoming Episode 15 is anything to go by. A sunny vacation takes a turn for the worse in “The Most Beautiful, Fierce, Smart, Powerful Creature in the Whole World,” with murder hitting a luxurious destination and rocking the guests, White Lotus style. This leaves Ramón Rodríguez’s Will with no choice but to save the day… again. An official synopsis for the upcoming episode reads:
“Amanda and Evelyn Mitchell’s idyllic getaway takes a dark turn when a shocking murder is discovered at their luxury resort; Angie faces the emotional strain of a family member’s unstable health conditions.”
Ramón Rodríguez Teases Big Things to Come For ‘Will Trent’
One of ABC’s best performers, Will Trent Season 3 premiered back in January 2025, and earned an incredible 9.75 million total viewers on ABC, Hulu, Disney+, and other platforms. One of the main reasons for the show’s sustained success is a dedication to quality from all the folks involved, with each episode feeling different from the others without ever losing the tonal through-line that makes the series so bingeable.
With an incredible Season 3 almost entirely in the rearview mirror, and with the series renewed for a worth fourth outing, thoughts turn to the future, one that, according to Rodríguez himself during an interview with Collider’s Steve Weintraub, is getting excited about. Rodríguez said:“
There’s some really intense stuff coming up, is what I can tell you. I mean, for fans of the show, we just came off of a very tough episode last week. It’s going to take you on a real ride. There’s going to be some high highs and some low lows. I can’t reveal too much, obviously, but hopefully audiences will be digging what’s coming up.”
Will Trent Season 3 is available to watch live on ABC on Tuesday nights, or you can stream episodes via Hulu or Disney+. Make sure to stay tuned to Collider for more updates on your favorite shows.
