The fan favorite character returns to the Peacock streaming soap opera this week.
After months of hints, Days of Our Lives has confirmed that Theo Carver will be returning to the soap, and it’s happening very soon.
All American: Homecoming star Tyler Joseph Andrews is bringing the beloved legacy character back to Salem this week.
The official Days of Our Lives YouTube channel gave viewers a first look at Andrews’ portrayal of the fan favorite character. In the promo we see Theo arrive back home at the DiMera estate and his uncle Tony says “Well, welcome home, Theodore.” Before embracing him. The next scene we see is Theo asking his uncle “So, what’s this proposal you have for me?”
Fans quickly started commenting excitedly about Theo’s return across social media. One user posted in the comment section on YouTube, “Theo Is back with A New face??? I can’t wait to see This Next week episodes of #DaysOfOurLives, The New Theo Is kind of 🔥 & Looks like the old Theo (Kyle Pettis)!!!”
Who is Theo Carver?
Theo Carver is the son of Abe and Lexie Carver. Born on May 29, 2003 and was last seen in 2023. Theo has been portrayed by seven actors over the course of his existence. Initially by child actors Chase and Tyler Johnson, followed by Kavi Faquir, then Amyrh Harris until Terrell Ransom Jr assumed the role. The character was then SORAS’d (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrom’d) with Kyler Pettis and most recently portrayed by Cameron Johnson.
Theo’s had various on-screen romances with his best friend Ciara and her cousin Claire. Most recently it was revealed that Theo and Claire had broken up. Leaving a single Theo to arrive back in Salem.
Fans may be wondering what brings the fan-favorite character back to town. Theo has multiple family members in town, ranging from his father and step-mother, Abe and Paulina, to his uncle’s (E.J. and Tony), and their children. With the battle for Titan DiMera looming, fans won’t have to wait long to see how Theo will play a part as the soap builds towards an exciting fall season.
