On the Friday, June 6 episode of Days of Our Lives, spoilers tease that Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) book that she wrote is getting around. Kate (Lauren Koslow) remains by Philip’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) hospital bed and tells her son to wake up. Also, Amy (Shi Ne Nielson), Sophia (Rachel Boyd) and Tate (Leo Howard) receive a tour of the hospital. Lastly, Carrie (Christie Clark) attempts to comfort Marlena (Deidre Hall) while Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) vents to Jack (Matthew Ashford) after she learns of Chad (Billy Flynn) taking Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) on a date. Carrie (Christie Clark, l.) welcomes Sophia (Rachel Boyd, r.) and her mother, Amy (Shi Ne Nielson), to Marlena’s home. Together with Tate, they will be taking a tour of the University Hospital. Sophia and Tate’s baby will be arriving soon, and they are getting ready for the big day.
Amy and Sophia bring more food for Marlena (Deidre Hall) and her family. They want to pay their respects to Tate’s grandmother on the loss of her husband, John. They know how much Tate loved his grandfather and what a trying time this is for the family.
Marlena gets another visitor when Carrie’s mom, Anna (Leann Hunley), drops by to pay her respects to the grieving widow. Anna cared a lot about John, especially back when he thought he was her ex-husband (and Carrie’s father), Roman Brad.
Anna knows what it’s like to lose the love of her life. There was a time when she believed her dear Tony had passed away and she used to carry an urn with her everywhere with ashes she believed were his.
While Carrie had a more loving relationship with Marlena as her mother figure for most of her childhood, Anna loves Carrie deeply and is there to support her daughter through this trying time.
Kate (Lauren Koslow) runs into Anna while visiting her son Philip at University Hospital. There is no love lost between these two women. Sophia, Tate (Leo Howard) and Amy are on their tour of the hospital. They are listening intently to find out what to expect when the baby finally arrives.
Things are getting very real for Sophia and Tate. Their baby will be here before they know it and they still haven’t made a plan regarding adoption. Will that still happen? Amy certainly hopes not.
Dave, the flight instructor (Adam Chambers, l.), coaches Chad (Billy Flynn) and Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) on what to expect while they are on the plane and descending through the air. Chad is a nervous wreck about the whole thing, but will Cat put him at ease or make things worse?
Did Chad get injured during their special date? It looks like Cat has to help Chad maneuver his way around the house. Was his landing rougher than he anticipated?
It looks like Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) is not buying whatever it is Chad is selling to her and Jack (Matthew Ashford) about his outing with Cat. Jennifer will never forgive Cat for impersonating her late daughter, Abigail, and she has no idea how Chad can.
Is Jack trying to talk Jennifer down from her anger about Chad and Cat, or is he in complete agreement with his wife? One thing is certain — the two parents will always miss their daughter and mourn her loss, no matter how much time has passed.
