Sam’s mom was the first family member introduced in Ghosts, although she was only in one episode. The outing allowed Jay’s wife to settle some long-standing grudge that she had with her mother, who had already passed away. That was followed by the arrival of Bela, who has been featured in Ghosts multiple times. At one point, she was even about to have an illicit affair with Trevor, despite him being a spirit. Jay and Bela’s parents getting introduced in season 4 simply continues that trend.
It will also be curious to see what brings Mr. and Mrs. Arondekar to the Woodstone Mansion for the first time, especially since it has been years since Jay and Sam have lived in the haunted B&B for a few years now.
Seeing them in Ghosts season 4 can offer viewers an idea of the kind of upbringing that the siblings had. As previously established, Sam’s childhood wasn’t exactly great. Considering Jay and Bela’s relationship, however, it’s possible that they had a very different experience. It will also be curious to see what brings Mr. and Mrs. Arondekar to the Woodstone Mansion for the first time, especially since it has been years since Jay and Sam have lived in the haunted B&B for a few years now.
