SEAL Team’s David Boreanaz speaks out as military drama announces huge change
SEAL TEAM’s David Boreanaz who played the fan-favorite Jason Hayes took to social media to talk about the military drama’s huge change.
Paramount Network’s highly acclaimed military drama SEAL Team which followed the thrilling lives of Navy SEALS is in for a huge change. Jason Hayes star took to Instagram to announce instead of a new series, the show will be adapted into a movie.
Boreanaz posted a screenshot photo of the Deadline article which revealed the exciting news and his caption read: “Wheels up! Here we go. Excited to bring this to the next level
This caused a major fan frenzy in his comments as fans expressed their excitement and anticipation to see their favorite characters on the big screen.

ViacomCBS were the first to reveal there is currently a standalone movie in the works which is set to air on Paramount+.
However, this wasn’t the only announcement for the entertainment group as they also announced NCIS will be going down under with a new spin-off, NCIS Sydney, which is set to air on Paramount Plus Australia.
The President and CEO of CBS and chief content officer for news and sports at Paramount+, George Cheeks released a statement about the huge news.
He revealed: “These two projects represent two new ways we are expanding our studio footprint while supporting the company’s mission to drive streaming.
“We have the producing roster, production infrastructure and deep library to be creative and nimble with franchises and other IP for both domestic and international audiences.”
As well as the announcement of the upcoming movie, SEAL Team was also recently renewed for a sixth season.
The devoted fanbase proved themselves to be loyal and kept raising the viewership for the series even after it relocated midseason.
The first four seasons of SEAL Team was aired on CBS until 2021 as the show was canceled at risk.
So after the first four episodes of season five, SEAL Team was moved to Paramount Plus, where it reported did well for the platform.
