Gordon Ramsay may be a regular presence on TV, but there’s still plenty we don’t know about the infamous celeb chef and his tight-knit family. The Masterchef host brood includes six kids, ranging in age from 25 to just two months old.
Ramsay and his wife Tana welcomed their sixth child in November after keeping the pregnancy entirely under wraps. “It’s been a nerve wracking nine months but we’ve made it and we have been blessed with this little bundle,” Ramsay’s wife wrote on social media. “Ramsay family definitely complete.”
But what about his other…five kids? Here’s everything we know about Gordon Ramsay’s family.
Megan Ramsay
While Ramsay’s oldest, Megan, has flown more under-the-radar than, say, Tilly, here’s what we do know about the 25-year-old: She graduated college in 2019 and is the spitting image of her mom, Tana.
“So proud of this young Lady @megan__ramsay our first Ramsay ever to graduate with a degree @oxfordbrookes hard work pays off,” Gordon wrote on Instagram. “Congratulations Megan love you Dad ♥️.”
Meg also ran the London Marathon in 2023 with sisters Holly and Tilly cheering her on from the streets, The Daily Mail reports. “Best of luck to my sister and everyone running the London Marathon today,” Tilly wrote on social media, while Holly chimed in, adding, “So proud of you Meg. Good luck to all of the runners.”
Holly and Jack Ramsay
Next in the birth order comes Ramsay’s fraternal twins, Holly and Jack. 24-year-old Holly launched the mental health podcast 21 & Over in 2021 to discuss anxiety and depression. She’s opened up about her own struggles with PTSD, anxiety, and depression, which she was diagnosed with after suffering a sexual assault while attending Ravensbourne University.
“I didn’t tell anyone about it until a year afterwards. I just buried it in a box in the back of my mind,” Holly said in an episode with co-host and psychotherapist Talitha Fosh.
She also celebrated one year of sobriety that same year. “Today marks one year without alcohol. That is not something I thought I would ever say at the age of 21. However, by 21 (nearly 22) I never thought I would have been through half of what I have,” she wrote in December 2021. “I chose to take a break from alcohol because it wasn’t improving my mental health—which for me, comes first.”
Meanwhile, her brother Jack joined the United Kingdom’s Royal Marines, which Gordon has called “amazing achievement.”
“Can’t tell you enough how proud I am of this young man,” Ramsay wrote. “Jack Ramsay you’ve made me feel like the proudest father today.”
Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay
22-year-old Tilly is arguably the most public Ramsay family member aside from Gordon himself. The middle child, who happens to have the same birthday as her famous dad, has followed in her father’s footsteps. At just 15 years old, she released the 60-recipe cookbook Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover and appeared in her own cooking reality show, Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch, between 2015 and 2019.
“[My cooking is] a lot easier than [my dad’s] because my recipes… if you don’t have one of the ingredients, it’s not a big deal,” Tilly told This Morning back in 2017. “But with Dad’s, if you don’t have one of the ingredients, it doesn’t work as well. His is a lot more fussy.”
Gordon has even opened up about his daughter’s kitchen skills, admitting she’s a “good” chef and “the number one in the household.” Seems like he’s got a bit of a softer side with his kiddos, huh? That’s a far cry from “idiot sandwich.”
Oscar James Ramsay
Gordon and Tana welcomed 4-year-old Oscar Ramsay in 2019 after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage just three years prior.
“After 3 baftas and one Emmy … finally we have won an Oscar, please welcome Oscar James Ramsay, who touched down at 12:58 today for some lunch! Xxx,” Gordon said in an Instagram post.
Jesse James Ramsay
After keeping the pregnancy entirely hush hush, the Ramsays welcomed their sixth (and according to the couple, last) child in November 2023.
“What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper,” the Kitchen Nightmares host said. “One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Done.”
